1 Quick Apply Full-time 2 hours ago Full Job Description Are you ready for an exciting and newly created position in the hospitality industry? Come work with passionate owner and manager as we build this amazing team! This is a blended supervisory position in a boutique hotel.
Your role is both employee and customer facing.
We like to do things a little different, so hotel experience is not mandatory but might be helpful.
This is somewhere between an operations supervisor, executive assistant, and concierge! If this describes you, we want to learn more.
You are:
outgoing and friendly with everyone; EXTREMELY organized; can juggle many things at the same time including on-going questions from every angle; calm under pressure; problem solver; get things doneit's in your nature; smart and creative; take direction well; ready to give something a try and be creative even if your directions weren't completely clear plus not afraid to ask questions; and you communicate well with others.
You love to:
help others, ready and wanting to assist a guest or staff member; have a day that is NEVER the same; spend a little time at your desk but also get up and move around the property; learn from your managers and team members alike; help create the perfect experience for guests and staff.
You are available for:
a flexible schedule which will often include weekends during season (April through December); jumping in where necessary; supervising others - including helping develop SOPs (standard operating proceedures), implementing them with team members, and holding them accountable; creating new programs at the property (this might be in events, spa, food&beverage, amenitiesor who knows); creating, overseeing, and being responsible for schedules daily, weekly, monthly and yearly for staff, managers, and outside contractors for both operations and building maintenance.
A must for you:
tech savvywe have multiple systems including property management, point of sale, security, employee tracking, AND MORE! You have to be comfortable learning these new systems, becoming an expert in these and new ones that will be implemented, and already have a good handle on microsoft office to be successful.
You also have to be able to work closely with female manager and owner, plus a yet to be identified chef.
We have high expectations for this demanding position, but are also ready to train you, support you, and lift you up to the next level.
